Will Caldwell with purchasers of $27,000 top price bull Milwillah Reality L20, Sam and Patrick Hayden, Buchan Station, East Gippsland, Vic.

Strong support from cattlemen and women produced a great result for the Caldwell family at their 10th Annual Milwillah Angus bull sale held on-property at “Clover Hill”, Young.

Auctioneer Andy McGeoch said it was hard to believe it was only their 10th sale.

“What a tremendous line up they offer,” he said.

Milwillah principal Will Caldwell again acknowledged the female base of the Milwillah program.

“We wouldn’t be able to offer the bulls we do without the tremendous female lines we had to build this herd on.”

The Caldwell family offered and sold 101 bulls reaching a top of $27,000 for Milwillah Reality L20 recording an average of $8881.

Reality L20 was purchased by the Hayden family of Buchan Station, East Gippsland, Victoria, who needed no introduction at Milwillah having purchased the top price bull of last year’s offering Milwillah Krakatoa K92 as well as Milwillah Elsom H283 the 2014 top price bull and Milwillah Elevator J128 in 2015.
